The Bull was situated at 21 Newbiggen Street. This pub closed c1988 and was subsequently used as a health food shop. When this also failed, the building was converted to residential accommodation.

I lived in the pub in 1966/7. My parents Sam and Joan ran the pub until early 1968 but the new drink driving laws completely killed the trade so they quit the business.

Barbara Chatters 1977/1978 I was on a working holiday from New Zealand and lived at this pub from 1977 to 1978 working as a barmaid/waitress. Also met my husband at this pub.
Chris King 1976/1978 Used the pub often Nigel and his wife ran it and also served good meals in restaurant. Remember Barbara and Ron Chatters, they came to Cornwall on holiday and we had good times with them all.
Andy Rouse 1979 I worked behind the bar for a few months in the first part of 1979. At that time the walls were adorned with old Victorian decorative toilet bowls. Some of the designs were very impressive, especially considering that in their original location they would rarely have been seen.
