Stock Code VM-DGR01

   1954 certificate for a 1000 Guilder share in this Dutch bicycle manufacturer. Watermark of a Fongers bicycle and the company logo.

Certificate size is 30 cm high x 20 cm wide (12" x 8.5"). It will be mounted in a mahogany frame, with gold inlay, size 39 cm high x 31 cm wide.

The certificate is shown unframed as all items are mounted to order.

About This Company

Mr. Fongers started making bicycles in 1880 in the City of Groningen. In 1896 he established his factory as a limited company. Although the factory in Groningen closed in 1970, the bicycle is still sold as a sub brand of Batavus bicycles (who bought the company that bought Fongers). Batavus is now part of the Accell Group, a bicycle conglomerate quoted on the Dutch stock market.
