The Rowan Tree was situated on Hookstone Chase.
This pub has now been demolished, with houses built on the site. |

It used to be called the Highland Lassie in the late sixties
and seventies. The landlord was Scottish and he had a large collection of
neck ties in different tartan patterns hung from the ceiling of the bar and
lounge It was a William Youngers pub. |
