The Kings Arms & Castle Hotel was situated on
The Square. The original building, which
dated from the 16th century, was demolished in 1986. The pub was completely
rebuilt and closed in 2005.
Reputedly Sir Walter Scott stayed here whilst writing his novel
'Kenilworth'. It was known as Drummonds from the mid-1980s to closure when
it was subdivided and became Zizzis, Ego restaurant and She Bar & Brasserie. |
