The Punchbowl was situated on Reigate Road and
closed in 1988. |
|
|
|
The building is still there, though now converted to a Frankie
& Benny's Restaurant & Bar, with a Travelodge built on the part of the
original plot/adjacent land. |

This is no longer Frankie & Benny’s. It has now reopened as the Arkle Manor – a
gastro pub, but with a reasonable range of real ales and quite decent food |

The Arkle Manor is not the same place as The Punchbowl. The Punchbowl is
still ‘Frankie and Bennys’. The Arkle is about 2 miles further east on the
A25. |
