The Waterloo Inn was situated at 58 Bridgnorth
Road. Closed in 2008, it is now used as an Indian restaurant. |

My Dad Sid Lucas with my Mother Dora was
landlord in 1958. The RAOB ( Buffalo’s) met in the assembly room upstairs. I
remember a large box of clay pipes which were part of there member joining
ceremony. My sister met her future husband there. I went to High Park
School. Not particularly happy memories as my father actually died there
aged 50. |
