The Bee Hive was situated on Dottle Street.

Dottell St was a narrow road near Chell St adjacent to Goal Square. The whole area was demolished in the 1970’s. My grandparents, William & Elizabeth Askey ran The Bee Hive sometime between 1920-30. It was a typical back street working man’s boozer
