The Dolls House was situated at 48
Newbury Lane. The premises was originally the HQ for non league
Oldbury FC then became a private members’ club. Sometime later, believed to
be in the 1970s, it obtained a public house licence and was named the Dolls
House, said to be because the building looked to the locals, like a child’s
dolls' house. It was subject to an arson attack c2016 and subsequently
the local Council issued an Order for the badly damaged building to be
demolished. It was eventually demolished in May 2017. |
