The Turks Head was situated on James Street. This pub has now been demolished.

During demolition of the pub my grandfather asked if he could save some of the interior wall fixtures and arches, they obliged and he proceeded to use them in his family home in Adsborough, with other parts that were unused being in storage in outbuildings of his.
