renamed to The William IV. It was closed in 1919. A grade-II listed building
that is currently used as an annexe to Merton College. |

C17 but altered. 3-storeyed stuccoed
timber-framing with cellars, an overhang at the 1st floor and a large
central gable with a moulded pediment and a Welsh slate roof. The ground
floor has 2 casement windows in modern frames bay windows with modern
3-light casements in moulded wood frames, that in the 1st floor having a
keystoned wood entablature. |
