The White Lion was situated at 11 St
Clements Street. This beerhouse was present by 1859 when the publican was
John Seary. It closed in 1891, when the publican was Henry Parker, and is
now in commercial use. |

House and shop. Early-mid C18 3-storeyed
stuccoed timber-framing with cellars, a modillioned eaves cornice, a Welsh
slate roof and brick stacks. In the 1st and 2nd floors are 2 Cl8 sash
windows in moulded frames. |
