The Swan was situated at 8 The Croft, Headington.
Known as The Spotted Pig until 1864 it closed in the early 1920s and
reverted back to being a private house. |

House. RCHM 268. Rebuilt 1706 in a T-shaped
plan. 2-storeyed rubble with a band at the 1st floor of the South front a
Welsh slate roof in which are two gabled attic dormers. 2 moulded
stone-based stacks with modern brick shafts. There are 3-light modern
casement windows in wood frames and also a stone keystoned frame.” |
