The Horse & Chair was situated at 13 S Ebbes Street. This pub was present by 1813 when the publican was Thomas George. It closed in 1878 and was demolished along with an earlier incarnation of The Royal Blenheim. Rebuilt towards the end of the 19th century, the current Royal Blenheim now occupies this site.
