The Kings Head was situated on the High Street.  This grade-II listed pub closed in 1999.

Listed building details:

Public House. C18. Pebbledashed and limestone rubble; old plain-tile roof and brick gable stacks. 2-unit, rear-outshut plan. 2 storeys. 2-window front has central door flanked by pilasters with free standing Tuscan columns supporting a renewed canopy. Small 8-pane sashes at ground and first floors.”
