The Bakers Arms was situated at 23a Ferndale Street,also known as Back Street. This street used to be called Union Street because Faringdon Poor Law Union, commonly known as the Workhouse, was situated there, just on the other side of the road to the pub. The pub closed during the 1990s and is now a private house.
