The White Hart was situated on Market Street. This pub closed in the 1990s. A grade-II listed building which is now in residential use.

My aunt was draughted into the Timber Corps during W.W.2 and was billeted at the White Hart. I visited as a very little girl and have a photograph of myself with the family who ran the pub. They were most kind and hospitable.
