The Flying Horse was situated at 44 Parsons Street. This grade-II listed pub was known as The New Flyer at time of closure in 2008.
 
This pub has now reopened as The Old Auctioneer.

Listed building details:
 Inn. C17 with later alterations. Probably cruck framed. Stucco fronted. Brick to rear. Slate roof. Brick end stacks. 2 storeys plus attic. 5-window range. 6-panelled door to left has overlight and rusticated stone surrounds. Doorway is flanked by 2 sashes. Carriage arch to right has rusticated stone surrounds. 5-pane wide sashes to first floor. Stone voussoirs and sills. 5 flat-roofed roof dormers. Interior reputed to have upper cruck roof construction. Interior altered and extended C20.
