1965 |
My dad used to take us on holiday to Wells
every year from 1965 onwards, the Shipwrights arms was his favourite pub
until it closed, he loved the people that used to go in it, his friend
who used to be a publican in the village where we lived and got a job
selling car park tickets at the pinewoods end of the road, an old man in
a white coat used to sell tickets for camping pitches at the end of a
little road. |
