1970s |
My uncle William page, and my aunt Dorothy page ran this pub. It was a
typical old type of pub, and attracted many types of customers. One
incident that happened was a police raid due to after hours drinking and
my uncle was fined a few pounds for breach of licence laws . They had
run many pubs , especially in 1963 the white lion opposite the cathedral
in Norwich, and the Angel in Loddon in the 1970s. |
