The quaint old public The Green Dragon under
the care of mine host Robert Garard whose son William in later years became
the very big drummer in Uxbridge 24 th Middx Volunteer Band, and who can
even now relate some of the numerous exploits of these merry old days. Next
door was a large and imposing house, Southfield, the residence of Thomas
Hurry Riches. |
