The Chopping Knife was situated at 1
Windsor Street. After closure it was occupied by three generations of Smiths
who made baskets, and then a butchers run by Mr Vagg. It became the Cosy Tea
Rooms, which were demolished in March 1928 to enable public conveniences to
be built on the site. |
