The Village Blacksmith was situated at 5
Hillreach. |

A great pub for real ales, was quite popular in the 80s, but
sadly closed. |

The Blacksmiths was at number 4 and I loved at
number 20. There was a bombed site next door where 19 and 18 would have been
pre 1945. There was a sweet/paper shop at number 2 and the Kings Arms pub on
the corner was involved in an IRA attack in the 70s. There was a piano shop
somewhere too. Happy days. |
