The Europa was situated at 9 St Marychurch Street. This pub closed c1980 and has now been demolished.

The 1959 film The Giant Behemoth features a giant sea monster running amok in Rotherhithe. After trampling down Rotherhithe Street crushing people and cars it proceeds to vaporise some people outside the Europa in Marychurch Street. The film is on YouTube.
