Railway Tavern

The Railway Tavern was situated at 263 New Cross Road. The Railway Tavern suffered bomb damage on 23 December 1940 , when 13 people lost their lives. A single storey pub was erected on the site in June 1941 , which was demolished around 1995 and the cleared site was used partly for road widening purposes.
