The Adelaide was situated at 1 Adelaide Road. Previously known as The Viceroy and The Eton, it has now been demolished.

I now believe that the main body of the pub may be original after all. There are two large wings with perfectly matching brickwork (which worries me), but I can't see why a developer would build an apartment block from scratch which looks just like a pub.
