My Granny and Uncle Bruce ran this pub for a couple of years. At the
time I was about 10. A male head made of of china had grass growing
where hair would have been. The pub had a kitchen and a dumb waiter to
allow food and plates to be transferred to/from the the bar. My father
installed an intercom to allow two way communication between the bar and
the kitchen. I remember staying the night there with my parents and
siblings. |
