The Duke Of Cambridge was situated at 345 Whitechapel Road. This JR Murphy & Sons pub was demolished in the 1960s to facilitate the widening of Cambridge Heath Road. The site now stands empty. The pub in the background is the Blind Beggar 337 Whitechapel Road E1. (Where Ronnie Kray shot George Cornell).
