The Sir Isaac Newton opened in 1856 and closed
in 1940 when it was demolished to make way for a dispersal road for Swinderby
airfield. The publican in 1872 was Robert Croft. |

This house became the Sir Isaac Newton public
house in 1856 when the licence was moved there from its previous location at
Half Way House Farm. The pub remained until 1940 when it was demolished to
make way for a dispersal for Swinderby Airfield. |
