The Five Bells was situated at Money Bridge.
This grade-II listed pub is now used
as a farmhouse. It was also known as The Money Bridge public house.

A former public house, shown as ‘The Five
Bells’ on the 1888 Ordnance Survey map but now (1987) empty. It is an 18th
century building which was altered in the mid 19th century. It is
constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a welsh slate roof and
brick-coped gables and kneelers. |

altered mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, Welsh slate roof, brick coped
gables and kneelers, 2 brick gable stacks. 2 storey, 4 bay front with first
floorbrick band. Central panel door with fan circle and plain overlight, set
in projecting C19 flat roofed brick porch. To right a C19 canted bay window,
to left 2 glazing bar sashes. To first floor 4 similar windows. All have
cambered brick heads. |
