A former 19th century public house known as
the White Hart Inn, in operation since at least 1877 and closed by 1955. It
was in 1955 when it was sold by auction with a restrictive covenant
prohibiting its use as a licensed premises. It has been used as a dwelling
since. The two-storey building is constructed of brick which has been
rendered white. It has a rectangular plan and a pitched pantile roof with a
gable chimney stack. There was a shared stack with the attached building to
its south which has since been removed. The front elevation has a central
white uPVC door, flanked by two modern uPVC casement windows. These windows
have a further two modern casement windows above them on the first floor. |
