The Victoria Tavern was situated on Tavern Lane. Making no profit, in an area with large caravan parks, empty in Winter, and with competition from supermarket alcohol being so much cheaper, people are no longer going to the pub, the landlord, Charles Wilkinson has called time on the pub he's run for 10 years, but which he lived in for four years as a child when his father was tenant landlord. Closed on 22 February 2026.
