The Flying Horse was situated on the A52. This pub was acquired by Soames Brewery in 1942
and sold to Batemans in 1957. It opened c1890, closed in April 1960 and is now
in residential use. |

|
Former 19th century public house which closed
in 1960 and was conveted into residential use. The two-storey building is
constructed of red brick with a saltbox roof and gable brick chimney stacks.
At the front elevation, on the ground floor, there is a central door with
pilasters and cornice flanked by two casement windows. On the first floor
there are two casement windows with mouled segmental heads ansd plain stone
sills |
