From Lincolnshire Heritage: |

1 Broadfield Street was constructed as a
purpose-built public house called The Vine. The current building was built
in 1905 when but the public house was located at the present site since
1875. The Vine appears to have closed at some point in the 21st century and
was converted into a dwelling. The two-storey building is constructed of red
brick in what had historicaly been a corner plot in a wedge-shaped floor
plan. The hipped roof is covered with slate and there are two gable chimney
stacks on the southern end and a further two chimney stacks a bit further
north up the roof. The entrance is located on the Broadfield Street
elevation. There was an additional entrance on the rear King Street
elevation, but this has been covered up. There are several uPVC imitation
sash windows throughout the building. |
