Sun Inn

The Sun Inn was situated on Main Street. This pub was first recorded in 1796 under licensee Thomas Biggs, who remained until 1815. His wife, Sarah Biggs, briefly took over before the inn closed in 1818. An attempted sale in 1812 appears to have been unsuccessful, and after closure the building was converted into three cottages. One of these cottages was converted into a bed and breakfast during the 2010s called Sunshine Bed and Breakfast, but this closed a few years later.
