The Robin Hood was situated at 41
Gallowtree Gate. A pub of this name has stood on the site since the early
19th century. It was highly decorated in 1902 for the coronation of Edward
VII. The original pub was demolished and replaced in the 1860s. The building front was changed before closure in 1958 for
shops however it has since been demolished. |
