Brunswick Hotel

The Brunswick Hotel was situated at 79 Sefton Street.  It was also known by its nickname of The Seven Steps, given to it by various drunks who fell out of the front door and bounced down the seven steps outside.

Gary McGuiness 1977/1980 My parents Chris and may, were the landlord and landlady of this pub. I was seventeen when we moved in. I loved living there. It use to be the only pub in Liverpool that had no windows in the bar. It also had a blocked up tunnel leading towards the docks plus seven cellars.
