My Nan managed this pub on her own as a widow.
The barmaid was Kitty. Kevin Hogan's mum, Betty (see Contacts below), was a
barmaid at the Borough which my Grandad (Dick) & my Nan (Emma) managed. The
Borough was too big for my nan on her own so she was offered the Hamlet
which she managed for approx 10 years |
