The Eagle Vaults was situated at 2 Rose Vale. This pub was demolished to make way for The Lamplighter. I am the daughter of one of five siblings who grew up here during WW2. Pub was also used as local air raid shelter. Run by my granddad Edward Ashley Tollet, (survived Somme under Noel Chavasse).
