edition map (1885). Not named but recorded as the Duke's Arms in the Grade
II listed buildings description. Building is 18th century in date and
originally included a malthouse. Now private residence/commercial mixed use. |

and C18 Malthouse. C18 front. 2 storeys painted brick, modern tile roof.
Carriageway with rusticated segmental arch on left, modern shop front on
right, with
3 windows, hung sashes, glazing bars. Old rectangular chimney stack with
rebuilt top. Ground floor room with original panelling and cornices,
fireplace and chamfered beams. |
