The Spotted Bull was situated at 43 Verulam Road. Originally four freehold
cottages which were amalgamated to become a public house by the late 19th
Century. Located in a residential area, the pub became run down before being
converted into The Brickyard - a cocktail bar. Complaints from residents saw
the premises closed by 2016: the owner later converted the premises into a
five-bedroom house. |

Lived here after our flat in Luton was sold until our new house in
Market Harborough was completed.The landlord was Charlie Porter assisted
by his wife Rose, my father-in-law and mother-in-law. The pub was a
typical town pub of the 70's. My most vivid memory is how cold the
bedrooms were.. |
