The Fox & Hounds
was situated on the
High Street. The original pub shown in these photos was destroyed by fire in
1950. The partly damaged pub sign was saved and placed outside the old Wagon
& Horses pub, which changed its name to the Fox & Hounds in 1955 and is
still extant. |
