The Crown was situated on Alton Road. This pub
was then used as a Bangladeshi restaurant which closed in September 2014. It
is now under development as an old peoples home. |

I was in the Army serving at RAF Odiham and the pub was
my local. A great little pub, with smashing locals. One old boy used to
be a local who went by the name of “Nelson” due to the fact that he only
had one eye. Happy days indeed lots of great memories.. I drove by it
today (July 24th 2021) for the first time since I left. Very sad to see
it is no longer a pub.. I feel old …. |
