The Deane Gate Inn was situated on Andover Road and closed in 2011. It is now in use as the Palm Brasserie.

Name Dates Comments Carole Mitchell 1998 I had an overnight stay here many years ago, but it was one of those events that I will never forget. The owners were Chris & Mike Perkins and they were lovely kind people who invited me to join them when they met some friends for dinner that evening at a local Indian restaurant. I still have a copy of the "Apple Appeal" recipe book "In aid of All Saints Deane" they gave me before I left the next morning.
