It has now been bought to be run as a community owned pub.

Name Dates Comments Jonathan Gray 2000/2022 My father-in-law ran the Chequers for 25 years. Myself and my wife assisted in the running of the pub to allow her parents to step back. We managed it from 2018 to 2022, but it never reopened after Covid.
