The Coach & Horses was situated at 197 Old Road. This pub closed in 2005 after a fire. It was refurbished c2010 and became Ronnies bar, which between 2011 and 2012 became Kaz’s bar, and then in 2013 became Hope’s bar. In 2017 it became The Griffin, serving its last pint in March 2020 because of the first lockdown however the pub was not closed officially until June 2023
