Road. This pub was known as the Woodcutters at time of closure. It has now
been demolished with a care home built on the site. |

Peter Hann and I sat watching television and I had a Cherry B many
nights of the week for a couple of years...it was the only place to hang
out other than the phone box, and the football field on summer evenings.
I lived at Church Farm on Church Lane then and we had a horrible car
accident on a bend there in his Austin 7. Would love to hear what
happened to Peter and his brother Michael and friends whose names escape
me.... |
