The Strouden Park Hotel on Castle Lane West closed in the 1980s. This pub has now been demolished to make way for road widening.

Used this fab pub from late 1950 till it was demolished. It was supposed to be rebuilt but somehow the developers reneged and got away with it. Lovely Nora was the barmaid along with Les. Who was the landlord and there lovely daughter.? Would love to catch up.
