The Red Lion was situated on Main Road. This pub closed on 1st January 2010 when it was run by an elderly brother and sister, George and Barbara Belfield, who also ran the adjoining farm. They would try to sell you a nice pint of milk rather than beer! Or their speciality, Milliguin - half milk, half Guinness. It is now in residential use.
