The Lowther Arms was situated on Main Street.

A newspaper report on the 11th November 2004 stated that a Blackpool comedian called Mike Simmonds (stage name Joey Blowers) had bought the already closed public house and had plans to turn it into residential accommodation.Fred Long (January 2023)
