The Iron Grey was situated at 49 Middlewich Road. This pub is now in commercial use.

My father Howard Gibson, born September 1910 in Sandbach, Cheshire, lived as a toddler in the shop next door to the Iron Grey pub in Sandbach. He said he used to go round the back yard to the landlady's parlour, where she would give him beer in a little sherry glass. He reckoned that was where his lifelong love of beer and pubs came from.
